But WHO are they giving TO? I know church going conservatives who give $ to missions- to convert- people, I don't think that is compassionate. I know conservatives who give lots of money to church (because Jesus- praise the Lord!- made them rich) but that isn't compassionate in my book- actually money isn't very compassionate- labor is compassionate. And the people I meet laboring in the fields of compassion are...liberals. I am not going to "rest assured" how could I possibly take your word? I don't know you, I've know idea what you think compassion is, or what a "spectacle" is.
