Last week I wrote covered calls (Feb 150) to hedge against my long position for a rich premium of $11.00.

If Fed gives us another big present of 50 basis point - not too likely at this juncture - then my shares could be called. Otherwise I think they are safe.

Regardless of the outcome, I think my call writing was a good deal either way.

Wes, the carriers are not big fans of CSCO. There may be a 1-2 day hit to JNPR's stock price on news but in terms of reclaiming marketshare from JNPR at this point, I don't see it. tp
