I received this alert last week. Having been in and out of GMGC years ago I thought the price was attractive as a speculation. This rumor may have been only related to the Onstar happenings and I thought I'd just pass it on. General Motors Interested in General Magic? Friday, January 12, 2001 2:48:25 PM EST The rumor mill has been circulating the that General Motors (GM) may be showing some interest in General Magic. Shares of General Magic (GMGC) are trading the low $2 range. Some are claiming GM may make a bid as high as $10 per share. Neither company has commented.
