New Lows On Nasdaq Say The Selling Is Over...
*********************************************************
Ike:

We seem to be on track to steadily rising prices with less downside volatility on the Nasdaq...
finance.yahoo.com

These minimal New Lows when contrasted with the New Highs say the Bulls are on offense...

The Point & Figure chart shows a Bearish Resistance Line in the 2900 area... That's about 5.5% above current levels...
stockcharts.com

The short term trendline is at 2750... We could see a little resistance in the 2750 to 2900 area... A break of the 2900 area sets up a triple top test in the 3000 area...

Jim

Earnings and macro-economic based moves are the best moves, if we look at JDSU and AMCC my cute smart brothers on hteo ther side of the aisle will not be able to understand that rug is being pulled under their topsy turvy world of the so called perpetual short positions.. I hope that we get these earnings right and we get the macro econoic situation right and here we have a FED in a easing mood that is a combo that pre 1995 combo and here we have market on 1997 levels even lower for few of the hidden great stocks one of them being ARMHY.. but lets get this game going.. and lets have some real fun, I am little chirpy today, this year was oneo f the years when I closed 9% down, today from 1 Jan 2000 I am up by 9 % and I was solidly long all the way I have one of the finest of the stocks at dirt cheap prices and I have the ability to short at much more higher level, being a bull and making the year within first 18 days is something I am little happy aobut, I wanted to think the 'bulls' of this thread who have time and again stayed their ocurse and have proven the 'prevelent conventioanl wisdom' on SI worng that money could only be made by either 'subscription fees' from innocent lurkers, or trades which are great for self pormotion but have nothing to do with actual trading... in real life.. dynamic hedge and risk management is a science that associated with 'capable fundamental' read of the market and events around leads to a conclusion thatm ay be wrong for few moths but within a bull run extending over 8 years 9 months would be soon forgotten.. I was today with one of the largest purchasers of Fibre optic net work and they were frnatically searching for a huge order of fibre optic in China, ALA and SIEMENS has told them that they are sold out until 2002 June, when I see this this not a 'Q' word' this is more like a 'B ' word on them aking for the bears and these guys on the other side of the aisle know my 'b' well, I will be very soon leaving it out in hte open for greatest of the funs the bulls will see....In my own territory annd own country and my timing I am going to bne same old 'Ike' you have all come to like and love so much..

In real life.. dynamic hedge and risk management is a science that associated with 'capable fundamental' read of the market and events around leads to a conclusion that may be wrong for few months but is rewarding if dynamic hedge is used in down days.. Within a bull run extending over 8 years 9 months would be soon forgotten.. I was today with one of the largest purchasers of Fibre optic net work cables and they were frentically searching for a huge order of fibre optic in China, ALA and SIEMENS told them that they are sold out until 2002 June, when I see this this not a 'Q' word' this is more like a 'B ' word on the making for the bears and these guys on the other side of the aisle know my 'b' well.

I will be very soon leaving it out in the open after 3028 hopefully I will hope that may be soon..ggg for greatest of the funs the bulls will see and watch, the wines will flow and best of them not budwieser it is cheap for blue collar workers, my father taught me 'class and style', I live with both and underwrite the whole thing by the markets that I love to trade in hte process, screwing 'bears' is my passionate hobby..ggg

In my own territory, own country, and my timing, I am going to be same old 'Ike' you have all come to like and love and hate so much.. have a god day and lets get ready for the big one..fwiw..a little life on Idea has to be uinjected for the sake of rejuvenation of my rusitng abilities and recuperate the old gaurds into action..After all market is just not about trading, it is fun , leisure and give and take of big abuses and on top of it with so many of huge egos all locked up in this cyber space no love is ever
lost..

Good Morning Ike,

Well, being a private pilot "Landing" and "Take-Off" are the absolute most dangerous parts of the flight. The Take-Off is over and we are returning from the outermost parts of the stratisphere. Greenspan is the Pilot, and he is instructing you to fasten your bank account for the landing, It's a bright sunny day, but the horizon has some ominous black clouds starting to appear, and windshear has been reported at the airport. He has contacted the tower and they have cleared him for ILS Approach runway 32 left, he is low on fuel, so there will be no go around on a missed approach. The emergency rescue crews are standing by, and it has begun to rain. Things were good at 5000 (Compx) but we have to land, and he finds he has a hard time maintaining altitude at 3000 (compx). He tries to restart engine 4 but the turbocharger (interest rate cut) disengages, so he will land with 3 engines.

HE Must respond to the tower regarding the following:

Mr. Greenspan your engine 1 is at full throttle you state productivity and efficiencies are at record breaking levels never seen before, then will you answer why corporate earnings are falling, personal savings are negative, and disposible income whether credit or equity driven is declining at an alarming rate?

Why is the U.S. Inflation Rate the Highest in the Industralized World?

Why do your smoke and mirror statistics, strip food and energy from the equation? You may not want us to see it in the CPI but we see it in the corporate profits, as their energy cost skyrocketed 65% over last year.

Why do you continue to ignore the "Big Bang" theory that is increasing the Trade Gap exponentially?

Mr. Greenspan, If The US Economy is so strong why is the dollar showing signs of weakening, especially against the EURO?

Mr. Greenspan why is Consumer Debt at an alltime record High?

Mr. Greenspan why is Personal Bankrupcy filings at alltime record High?

Mr. Greenspan why is the U.S. current account deficit widening at an alarming rate?

Mr. Greenspan why are the markets controlling your decision making process regarding interest rates?

Mr. Greenspan.... you are cleared to land, and may God be with YOU!
