Rick,

I was trying to adjust the "basis" to reflect what had been spent plus profit, so that subtracting it from 100K would yield the cash available. FWIW, I sent a polite hate email to SI about this. Won't be worth much. We portfolio managers are a small minority on SI, and they're not going to spend the dough to get a better portfolio manager just to make us happy.

I think what I'm going to do is set up a spreadsheet for this, or link it to something like Clearstation that has a better portfolio manager. I'll keep the portfolio/watch list here so folks can see the how Trickle's components are doing without going off site, but the portfolio's overall performance will have to be tracked another way. Thank goodness I've posted every trade to date, printed out, etc. But it will be a bit of a project, and it's an option expiration week. So it won't happen right away. Since there is no field for cash in this manager, I'd have to keep notes off the thread no matter what. Might as well go all the way.

Hopefully I can find a portfolio manager for free that does the trick, and that can maintain itself while I'm scaling Moab sandstone. I don't have Cyto's dedication to post the changes every damn day manually. What a guy!

Cheers, Tuck
