The market, at least for semi equips, is also very good at beginning to go up just when posting on this thread has nearly died. Which might be nearly the same thing as what you said: The market is very good at: 1. Going up when most people expect it to go down. 2. Going down when most people expect it to go up. There were long periods without any posts on this thread during late December and early January, and as it turned out that was a great time to buy. I'm up 65% on LRCX that I bought a few days before Christmas.
