Well the January effect has been absent for a while, perhaps because of the tremendous emphasis over the last several years on the mega-caps. Before it disappeared, it also moved earlier, into November and December.

So this is really a re-appearance.

The NAZ site only shows short interest only thru 12/15. Anybody have a link to a site with more current short info? Inquiring longs wanta know. Scott
