IS, I have looked the financial statements of other companies, but not eBay (I don't own them). Time-limited, like you. I also work for a living :-(. Seriously, I was just asking the general eBay populous. When I do research, I post the results, so please don't imply I don't "lift a finger", or I'll lift one at you <jk>.

Thanks for pointing out the investment income. Does it dominate, or do you just think it's too significant at this stage? Is eBay management making good investments?

We all know eBay has an incredibly light business model -- their sellers and buyers do the work, and they profit. eBay makes it easier for more people to sell more things on their site, they gain revenues and profits. Seems potentially better than T-bills, but the price must be right.

You ought to fill out your profile a bit. What do you invest in? Do you think eBay will outperform the market over the next twenty years (or do you expect them to fold or be bought between now and then)?
