The Fact Is The Market Is Headed Down

Let's assume that the boyz know this as well.

What's the difference between us and the boys. They got a lot more inventory. In fact they have in effect infinite inventory. (Their marginal cost of new shares is practically zero).

At this point nothing really matters. Everything is being manipulated my computers running complex linear programming solutions based on real time supply and demand input.

Even though they are maximizing revenue prices over time will trend to cost i.e. zero.

Based on the market response to changes in price they are able to calculate the supply and demand price elasticity and thereby set prices to maximize revenue.

We are in a sell and hold market. The boyz will make money all the time. Players will make money some of the time.

So far the honor among thieves has been commendable. They must have some way of enforcing discipline on the cartel.

No matter - The greatest incentive in a cartel is to the largest members. Over time the smaller member's computers will tell them that they stand to benefit more from dumping now. And so on.

Its not nice to fool mother nature.
