Pat, I don't use TA at all. My feeling is that JDSU will break past 55 easily, today or tomorrow. The JNPR and more importantly AMCC is too significant to ignore (sorry for being repetitive on this point). I believe JDSU will also have a rally on the NT sale and supply agreement that is expected.
JDSU now at a much better PE and that it is a deal. Great fundamentals and that is what counts.

Just noticed that Dan Niles trying to push the semiconductors down. He downgrades when the stocks were even lower and now wants the stock to reflect his thesis...and the stocks are not co-operating. <ggg>
Any stock that he downgrades, have been going up lately. Analysts have been absolutely useless this past year.

It looks like the Nasdaq will succeed in holding above 2700.
JDSU refused to yield today and held well most of it's 10% gain
even when Nasdaq retreated from 132 gain to 68 point gain.
As soon as Naz even hints of moving up, JDSU has beat it
to the finish.

The last hour as usual will tell.

JDSU is fighting hard.

I believe the market has spoken.
Manipulation ( short selling ) is unlikely to work:
it's like spitting in the wind.

My guess is we will defend 55 successfully and even the Naz will
close above 2700 in the last 20 minutes.

Time will tell.....vbg ( 40 minutes that is....)...
