<AFTERMATH of a wild and bronco 'bustin' day> Notice Gemmers that what we said held up.. how early morning moves up were halted at a spike high, followed with either a move down and trigger short, or a consolidation through the 11:30 to 1:45 reversal period. Than much of our earlier long calls ELNT, MUSE, QLGC, TXCC, even EXFO all retriggered but the caveat is that we don't put in a buy stop at the high of the day but at that move ABOVE consolidation. Much of them however were close to the high of the day but that is not the usual case.

Also VRTS and XLNX which we did not have long were easy picks offs on the short side using the opposite strategy: stocks that move OFF the 20 period moving average

We need fully to watch 3 earnings days to see if there is indeed a trend this earnings season or what I will call "The Juniper Rally" was anything more than a bear flag rally move fueled by wishful thinking and a pretty good earnings report by one (JNPR) and a pretty earnings report by another (INTC).
