I came across a stock that might be of interest to you. MOYC 2 13/16 +3/8 today as of now. I read that they were selling off the dental products portion of the company and giving the net proceeds to the shareholders in the form of a cash dividend, assuming the deal clears regulatory approval, etc. The company estimates each share of MOYC will get about $1.35 in cash upon close of the deal based on the selling price minus all costs. That will leave the company with its precision abrasives division which sells to the fiber optics, semiconductor, auto, etc. industries. I spoke with a company official who said this portion of the company is profitable and revenues are growing nicely. I think this may be a decent "speculative" play, with about 5 million shares and 1.8 million float. The number to call them is: 800-221-1344. I have purchased a couple of thousand shares today and will hold for the anticipated dividend or sell after the announcement if it jumps a buck or more.
