Hi Zeev - thx for the heads up. Btw, how does expiry on Fri affect the mkt condition? IBM is going to announce today and NT tomorrow, my guess is that it is still a touch n go situation

best, Bosco

"I think that we are being fooled, IMTO..."
I think you're right--this is the January Effect with a vengance, I think. My portfolio has managed to recover all of the pretty substantial losses in Nov-Dec, plus a little, in the past week and a half or so. Partly due to some averaging down in some stocks which are up 50% or more over that time, but mostly from practicing the [in?]famous Ostrich Technique. Still have about 12-14% cash.

Totally OT, if that is possible, found this link on the Asia thread: taipeitimes.com. I don't comprehend the fascination.

Sam

Zeev,

SSTI has not been following the NAZ too closely. It has been a steady rising star since the last week of DEC. It is still up almost $1.50 today and this candle doesn't confirm yesterday's engulfing bear. I see gold in them thar hills. :-)
