Grace, You miss my point. (I go back to slide rules and punch cards btw.) I conceded that we are more productive, but only marginally so compared to the silly numbers being thrown about.

It is patently absurd to say that someone or a process is 6x more productive in just a few years. Think about that number. Even try to wrap your mind around 2x as productive. It makes no sense at all.

Oh yeah, that's CERTAINLY helping productivity!

It helps it so much that most large corporations have to install expensive firewalls and surf-monitoring software to keep their employees from spending all day checking stock quotes/sports scores and porn.
