That reminds me of some stories I was told by a guy that built a computer for me some years back. At one point he was "customer service" at a store an related the following to me, which he swears are true stories.

A lady called and said her computer had just stopped working. Totally stopped. No power, nothing. After walking her through a bunch of scenarios trying to figure out what was wrong, he finally asked her what was going on right before it stopped. She said she had cleaned the computer.

By putting it in the dishwasher.

A guy called in and said his mouse was broken. It was doing crazy things. When he moved it to the left, the cursor would go to the right. When he wanted it to go up, it went down.

He was told to turn his mouse over so the wire came out the top.

A man called in and said his cup holder had stopped working. You know, the cup holder that comes out of the computer when you push that little button? He had spilled Pepsi on it.

This last one, it seems, has happened more than once...
