That is GOOD news! Now those utility companies won't have to worry about esoteric things like "debt" and "credit ratings."

This will give more free time to the execs who can more wisely focus their efforts into telling us how their stocks are going to go UP, since they don't have to repay any of that pesky debt!

BUY BUY BUY!

Also, who needs power in California. Just because the "new economy" is all based and run out of California doesn't mean anything. They can get by without electricity just fine. Besides, most of these new economy stocks will GO HIGHER if the companies cease operation, as they won't have to spend money on things like electricity or salaries. The remaining execs can focus on more important things like PUMPING THE STOCK PRICE ON CNBC!
