Quantify "large scale layoff."

There has been an expectation that VIGN would let underperforming sales people go after integrating ONDS sales.

The information you presented is suspiciously vague. Were you comfortable with that level of information or did you get something more useful?

Depending on the scale and areas of any cuts, th enews could be good in the sense VIGN is beginning to get serious about operating margin improvement.

Interesting facts ...

If I didn't know better, I'd think it was February 19, 1999, Vignette's IPO day.

VIGN traded below $7 this morning: the last time it did that was February 1999 when it came public. Also volume has now exceeded any prior day's volume including it's IPO day's volume.

fwiw MGV, I'd heard 400 layoffs, but since it was only one source I preferred to be vague.
