I hadn't heard that, but I am glad. I remember at the last Olympics they played some dreary awful dirgelike thing - but I don't remember if it was for Russia or one of the other new countries. It was HORRIBLE- and very very sad. I don't like scat either, though I understand that it's an art. And I confess that- Oh dear- this is so awful- I don't like jazz. It makes me very nervous. Too many notes, and I don't know where anyone is. I have to leave the house if Dan plays it. It's a bone of marital contention. I think maybe that's REALLY unAmerican.
