Reno was against the death penalty, but she didn't oppose it for Timothy McVey(sp?). Also, did Reno really follow the law in the Elian Gonzalez case? Some think not.
I really don't know Ashcroft well enough to know if his views will interfere with his enforcement of the law. I watched some of the hearings today and several people are saying he is a man of his word.
