That was a very long and very costly Democrat scarring of our country. I was hurt badly. My brother is gone as are many friends.

i didn't need a democrat to tell me that bush sr. screwed up the iraqi war, bigtime.

with the way it ultimately turned out, it looked to me like a ploy to cement sadam's hold on power, not weaken it.

'with enemies like sadam, who needs friends?'

i've spoken with at least two people from that part of the world who happen to agree with me. have you spoken with anyone from that part of the world who buys our own party line, hook line and sinker?

our marines stood 1000 meters away and watched the republican guard - the one we let out of the bag - destroy the rebels in basra... hmmm.... basra is the key city in the persian gulf and just happens to be shiite (ties with iran) and not sunni (the rest of iraq and the moslem world outside of persia (iran).

hmmmm... then those republican guards - the ones we let out of the bag - went on to destroy the kurdish rebellion in the north.

to be fair, clinton's people set up the kurds again and abandoned them. clinton is the numnutz who rained 300-some-odd cruise missiles on iraq, just to forestall his impeachment hearing a day...

it goes on and on and on... but you're doing a disservice to yourself if you take cnn at face value, even when you think 'it agrees with you.'

just my opinion.
