Ok, how about this; quadruple the salary to make term limits more palatable to 'em. Oh, and no more pensions.

no, we should pay them next to nothing. give them room, board, and meals.

they are not supposed to be our 'leaders.' they are supposed to be our representatives.

they aren't supposed to think. they are simply supposed to do what we tell them to do.

they should be put into office via lottery; a lottery no one wants to win.

they should only do the things which _every_ one of their constituents agrees upon. if a politican does anything against the wishes of even a single constituent, then they are, on some level acting immorally.

i find it fascinating that most people of democrat and republican persuasions never in their lives seem to understand any of this.

democracy - majority rule - is an immoral thing.
