MB, indeed. this is a side show of the malinvestment theme in a way...the necessary investments in power generation were put off, but enough server farms and whatnot came into operation that use a lot of power.
i believe the Cali energy crisis to be much more significant than it is generally made out to be. it's as if everybody's convinced that the usual short term fix/bailout will put it right overnight. i'm absolutely NOT convinced of that. yes, in the longer term solutions will be found. but not in the one more day PCG has before it goes involuntarily into chapter 11.
