in every answer that you are giving me you are "justifying" the existence of the church by saying that it is not the "official" position of the church(es) in all the various examples of violence in review.

this leads me to think that the church, in spite of their obvious power over the people, they do NOT take a pro-active stance to stop the continued killings. in spite of their love preaching and all the rest.

perhaps it is an excuse, but seemingly a strong one and worse, nothing gets really done about it.

so what is the point of encumbering all the participants with guilt of "an original sin" and the "fear of god" and all the rest.

their effectiveness as managers of a flock is none, as it clearly each of these flocks are running amuck, since they do whatever they want anyway, (in spite of the church not endorsing the specific acts that they do anyway.)

i think is pointless to continue since (as i said from the start), it would be hard to prove to make the churches responsible for all the killings due to religious persecutions and similar --i will cite the inquisition as it seems to be the one without dispute--

i continue to think that there are others (as in the case of Latin America)... but no point in continuing.

you and I know that the church(es) have a far larger influence that you make it to be, yet the crude reality is that the only influence on the people that they seem to care is how many converts they get each day. and that is part of their so-called "mission".

if they really care about improving the lot of its members, by now the situation could have been improved, yet this is not happening. on the contrary, it is getting worse.

if a ceo (or a management company), does not obtain their self imposed objectives, why continue paying for their "services" --as persuasive and filled with love as they may be-- they are all the same ineffective

at the very least, their negligence, based on their lack of achievements, given the enormous resources at hand, (for example), of the Vatican is evident. a waste of resources that could very well be put to better use if a change of management were to take place.

it usually is the case in many public corporations, the same case applies to Vatican City, Inc.

i say fire the bums !

and quit preaching ineffective guilt ridden doctrines that all they achieve is absolutely nothing.

whatever possible benefit on the side of "morality" does not justify the killings (both past and present), and the influence on every singe human to encumber the clarity of their thinking.

saying "it is not so" does not make the situation any different, in spite of how many times you repeat it.

i guess we disagree on all counts.

i will short:

God, Ala, & Jehova, Inc,

and go very long on:

Pagan, Voodoo & Wiccan, Corp.
