Well, I don't have a problem with SAM systems as they are clearly defensive in nature and of limited range.

But if used to screen a system of land-based missiles that are aimed to be fired at Taiwan, that is another matter.

Btw, they wouldn't be difficult to destroy with a couple of B-2s loaded with JDAMS GPS guided bombs.

Regards,

Ron

That's interesting, wasn't Raytheon accused of passing military secrets to China?

The upgraded version, Jane’s said, features a trailer-mounted phased-array radar similar to "one used by the US Raytheon Systems AM/MPQ-53 Patriot SAM system."
