BAY
I owned that once.....or twice .And waited and waited and waited while the price dropped on no news and little promo.
It moved after I sold(for once it was a long while after)
The problem you have is that it has been on my watch list for a while now and I just might buy it again. We know what happened after I bought CPT. <ggg>

Hmmm ... 129m ozs divided by 19.42m f.d. shares equals 6.6426 ozs/sh ... referring post is wrong [must have been including the Au as Ag equivalent] ... however 6.6 is fairly healthy, there is blue sky left on sides and at depth, and anyway it is the IRR at various silver price scenarios that counts, especially considering that high grade zone with low strip ratio to pay for mine construction capex.

Company turned twenty on the eighth of this month - incorporated 08 April 1981 ... listed on TSE since 1985 ... current focus is the Sleeper property in the Battle Mountain trend of Nevada - x-cal.com
.. check out the 'Sleeper Presentation' there on the left, it takes time to download each of the 33 pages unless you're on cable, but is worth the effort imho, gives a clear view of both the past mining by Amax and the plans for the near future by xcl.

Amax got out some exceptional grades, then shut Sleeper down partly because of poor planning [built the mill on top of economic rock, for one thing] but mostly due to capital cost overruns at places like Refugio ... if Shawn Kennedy's carefully considered theory bears out, Amax will be seen to have made a major mistake in priorities.

Financing pressure - xcl has to come up with 1.75mUS by the end of June to pay out Kinross [successor company of Amax] for 100% of the property ... we don't know yet how they plan to do that, or if they will be able ... always before they got financing, and never from the west coast houses, so they get neither the benefits nor risks of the house promo machines .... how much cash they have now i don't know, but certainly nowhere near enough to pay out Kinross and drill as well.

Current shareprice action - some player or players at Nesbitt have blown out over 800k since 01 april, most in the last few days ... why, who knows ... 15 other houses are buying, and not having to pay much since it's normally quite a thinly traded stock and this action has tanked it ... xcl was offered at .12 at the close yesterday ... it was bid .36 not so long ago, and could very well be again before Christmas imho ... that would be a triple, wouldn't it ... and for a long term hold of a portion - this outfit has staying power, and that's one fine property even if the coming gold bull tops out at 325.
