Some days shorts are geniuses and some days they are dumb.

Good luck with sunw. I actually have a little myself since early 1999. Sold half of it back in Aug at $123 (before the 2/1 split). SUNW is a great co.

Shorts do not drive the market one way or another except for very, very brief periods of time when they accentuate moves already in progress. The market can only very rarely and very briefly be understood as moved by the activities of shorts. The same is true of options.
