I've never claimed we saw the ultimate bottom. I just called for a short to intermediate term bottom. We will have to let the market be our guide and reveal to us if it is a true bottom or not. I'm still on the fence, there is so much conflicting data. What I need to do is some research on past bear market rallies such as ones following 1929, 1973-74, Japan '89, etc to see what the market breadth was on those fake-outs. My guess is that we ultimately go lower, perhaps to 1200-1300 on the Nasdaq. There are many arguments on both sides that have merit.
