Scumbria, Nearly all the energy saving stuff, insulation, high E glass, saves money in the long run, but cost more up front. The problem is you can't get people to invest up front. Some of the best marketing companies in the world (GE, Phillips) have tried to sell compact fluorescent bulbs to consumers, so far no one has been successful on the scale you would expect. How do you change peoples thinking on larger issues, if you can't sell them something as simple as a light bulb that will save them 50%? BTW, do you use incandescent light bulbs? John
