I think we all like the rule of law- as long as it's the rule of law we want that is tailored to our prejudices

For me, it's the rule of law, national defense, and government wasting people's hard earned money.

If the government spends more on national defense than is justified by existing external threats, does that constitute a waste of the people's hard earned money?
