Les Horowitz: **OT** Actually neither of the systems were/are cheapo's. I don't buy cheapo's...<g> I did get a good buy on the IBM because newer technology was out at the time I purchased it, but it was purchased as a backup.

The Micron P200 MMX with 64K Ram was the top of the line Mircon had to offer in Dec96/Jan97 and has been one of the best computers I have ever used and or been around and I have used and seen a lot of them. I don't off hand remember the system bus speed, but 66Mhz sounds right.

The IBM AMD K6-450 with 128K Ram has a 100MHz system bus. That is why I was so surprised the older Micron did so well against it.

My office has six computers in it as I type, all but two Microns are different brands, one is a PowerMac. If you are not going to build your own, I highly recommend Micron PCs.

LG
