I will go long leaps but always in several gorilla stocks at a time. I like the chip equipment sector because of its' volitility. I go out as far as possible and way out of the money but achievable. An example is the intel 03 90's. I set a profit target which when hit will either be grabbed or watched very closely. I buy several companies at once to help hedge the fact that leaps expire. I expect to be out in a year.
