I think the price Newt paid was for nearly losing the House to the Dems, not for his adulterous affairs. Anyway, let me clarify my point, in case anyone missed it. As much as some folks here would like to believe to the contrary, political liars, philanderers, campaign finance violators, draft dodgers, spousal abusers, phony ministers, home wreckers, tax evaders and other asserted criminals -- as well and war heroes, people of integrity and good will -- are not confined to any political party or philosophy. Alas, the world is gray, not black and white, and all these folks are all fallible human beings with failings great and small. I am ready to accept that truth, are you? All right, I am done for the day. You guys are free to put your partisan lenses back on that filter out all except those things that fit your preconceived notions, with no reality checks from me.
