The right in this country is dominated by and unified by Christianity. We don't have a lot of Buddhist, Moslem or Jewish conservatives because of the origin of the dogma that works its way into the platform (Xian). Conservative Jews in Israel, for example, have their own dogma which would be at odds with the content (but not the form) of the agenda of the Right here. Religion is a strictly personal matter and doesn't show up (nor should it) in the platform of the Left. You find religious diversity on the Left because of this principle.
