No, actually you are wrong. Phil Crane is still in Congress, having just been reelected. It was Dan who was required to find new employment.

"In 1983, Hyde showed a similar lack of enthusiasm in pursuing one of his own. Dan Crane, a former fellow representative from

working as a congressional page. When an appropriate punishment was discussed, Hyde spoke out in favor of leniency for
Crane. He stated "We sit here not to characterize the crime, the breach, the transgression, because we all know the

censured rather that expelled by the Democratic led House."
