I would be happy if Jackson resigned from whatever positions he holds and disappeared into obscurity forever. As to Newt, you may be rewriting history a bit. My recollection is that he resigned because the American people had gotten tired of his schtick, and he nearly lost the House. I dont recall his adulterous behavior as being the reason.
