Before the Miami Dade re-count result was known, I had stood behind that statistics assumption, but since the Miami-Dade recount is exactly opposite of what was expected and predicted by statistics, well who the hell knows. Actually, those in the know realized that the heaviest Dem precincts were hand re-counted first in Dade, and the canvassers knew that the initial results were the best they were going to do (high-water mark so to speak).
