redbird: "Those who wrote Jan 20 call options all of a sudden have to come up with some stock!!" That is so!!! As well, it seems to have become apparent to an awful large number of investors at the same time that any company with the string of 4 successive quarters of outstanding eps, each exceeding $0.50 that we've seen from AMD in Y2000, is worth a great deal more than $20!!! Looks like AMD has demonstrated convincingly consistency of earnings and outstanding performance this past year...I'm looking ahead to much more of the same and it looks like others are as well judging by today's expression of interest in AMD!!!
