Only Tyson - and even then, with reservations, as you may recall my comments pertaining to his attacking "Soft" Lou Savarese over the intervening ref - gets my adamant defense.

Vargas was beaten in the fight. I would assert (or agree with your assertion, if you prefer) that Trinidad owes Vargas no rematch of any sort. Indeed, it would be a waste of time and effort for a great fighter with goals that are, however lofty, within his grasp; i.e., beating Hopkins & Jones, et al.

While I am a supporter of his, I'm also a realist. I'd say, if he beats Delahoya, he may have a few good money fights ahead of him (Diaz, Castillo, etc). At this point, though, I'm certain that Sugar Shane would destroy him.
