Took advantage of the down day in the Patch and up day in tech to rotate a little. Sold a large part of February calls on my favorite tech (SBLU) and bought August 20 VPI calls and June 22 1/2 FLC calls. Got lucky in buying the SBLU calls at the end of December for my largest gain ever (700%) - but unfortunately it does not offset my even larger SEV losses (still maintain my position in belief/hope? of big gains this year). Buying longer term calls in the Oilpatch when it falls significantly has been a very successful strategy for me. Other call positions currently held are May 5 FGH calls and May 10 PGO calls, which were bought in December. Figure these late bloomers will have taken off by May due to increased 2001 capital expenditures.
