If MSFT *doesn't* go up, those poots are going to start expiring with good 'ol Softie as the bagholder. Last figure I saw was a liability of $4.8 BILLION with about 1/3 of them expiring this year.

Given that MSFT is in the business of selling stock, I don't see how they can have good things to say about the future. Who cares about PC sales or any of that other crap, that's just their secondary business.
