They're not the same thing at all. Most conservatives and libertarians believe no group is "more equal" than another. Would you identify what about the gay political agenda that proposes making them more equal? This discussion might be clearer if it were more specific. The only agenda element I can think of that falls in that category is wanting the same "unequal" rights as other discriminated against groups, which is a separate issue from homophobia. Karen
