Andrew, it has NEVER been a concern for the market, except in those times when things are beginning to go wrong, like e.g. the Russian default. that's because very few people take the time to analyze these things. however, only those that DO take the time, won't be blindsided once the problems float to the surface. don't forget also that the majority of market participants believes fervently in the Greenboink put. this is were i think they will be in for a nasty surprise this time around. but i could of course be wrong about that...generally betting against the Fed has rarely paid. but i do know it WILL pay when the k-winter arrives, and i derive some confidence from the fact that i am part of a tiny minority believing that. sorry for not catching the sarcasm earlier.
