Yes, I never disagreed with that. My original position was and is that, because of CA's climate, exhaust system rot occurs at a much slower pace than back East, which in the snowy, cold regions is accelerated by the colder, damper climate and also whatever they put on the roads.

I never said it didn't occur out here and I know that having exhaust systems last the life of the car is not uncommon here, but extremely rare there.

It makes sense and I've experienced it, witnessed it, personally. If you are maintaining that things don't rust out quicker back East than out West in general and including exhaust systems, then I simply must respectfully disagree.

I've learned that once the argument goes circular, then it's about over. And I think we've arrived.
