That may be true but it was mentioned that they are considering extending the blackouts to the southern CA area.

They wouldn't dare! We are exempt!

You need to understand that the City of Los Angeles is their own municipal power company. They are having no problems with electricity. They have not gone the deregulation way that SCE and PG&E have. When they talk about blackouts in So Cal. They mean most of So Cal. That is what SCE covers. The city of LA is a small piece of the entire So. Cal or "LA area".
