Tom, I have been following CRWN for the past 3 months, since their last earnings release. I was astounded to see they have managed to lose approximately $30MM per quarter, at least thru 1999 and 2000. I initially went short right before the lockup expiration date and soon covered my short.
CRWN is a media company, specializing on providing entertainment programs to cable providers in US and abroad. Their viewership base is growing at a decent rate, however they continue to lose money which can be seen in the past so many quarterly statements. In fact, money loss had really escalated in 2000.

So, here you have a company losing $30MM a quarter with $60MM sitting on balance sheets valued now at $1.2B. The earnings date is around Feb, 8, I believe.
