I would have to agree that the Rev Jackson "affair" is borderline comical, especially
when one considers that he was Clinton's advisor in and around the Monica affair...only
confirms the statistic that most men cheat on their wives and just like we tend to do with
athletes and celebs, we tend to put politicians on a higher plane, and then realize they
develop ugly warts from time to time just like the rest of us.

First of all I would classify fathering a child out of wedlock when married to another little more
than an affair. I also wouldn't call it borderline comical when many people believed Reverend
Jackson and looked up to him. Also a man who professes to lead his race by being a man of
God should be on a higher plane than "most men". This problem is a lack of character and
morals which has plagued the Clintons and the Democratic Party as well. The liberal point of
view of course considers this okay. Well it's part of the reason why most black children have
no fathers at home. It's also why they behave so poorly in school and why the prison systems
overflow with minorities. Reverend Jackson is a poor example of a leader and doesn't deserve
any sympathy or excuses since he is part of the problem in America today.

I don't think it's a proven truth that most men cheat on their wives. I don't and my friends don't. That kind of thinking is just why we got the Clinton plague and why we need the Bush cure.

Senator Maria Bush Cantwell:

...freshman Sen. Maria Cantwell of Washington, who seemed a bit confused about the birds and the bees ("for example," she told him, "you were a supporter of the human life amendment to the Constitution that would have declared life begins at conception, not fertilization").

I was unaware of that statistic. Can you provide some sort of actual fact for that claim? I'm curious, since I have never cheated on my wife. I know several men that have never cheated on their wives. I would very much like to see the source of your claim.

You find Jackson's admission comical? I wonder if you would have found it comical if Bob Dole or George W. Bush did the same thing. Let me ask you a question: Did Reverend Jackson break the law? Did he commit a felony? Did he violate his own code of ethics and morals?

While you are researching, any news from the Florida media recount? I vaguely recall you claiming that Gore won the state handily.
