It is encouraging to see that Gilder views the lockup expiration as a buying opportunity. But that still begs the question of when to get in. With 79 million shares about to be available, I figure at least 4 to 6 weeks of trading to absorb it all. I have no idea if those shareholders are going to get what they can while the getting is good, or if they are inclined to hold on a bit longer.

My fearless prediction: volume will go up to about 5-6 million shares/day for about a month and ONIS will underperform any advance in the fiber sector for at least that long. I have made a solemn vow to myself that I will wait at least 2 weeks after the lockup before diving in.

Wonder if GG is getting ready to unload shares of his customers BEFORE the Jan 22 date of the release of approx 80 mil shares??

I presume that many of these unlocked shares will find their way into the market. And unless there are buyers for all those shares, the stock price should tank.
