MONEY FROM THE SKY!! I GOT THIS ALERT FROM ETRADE! MY ACCOUNT DIDN'T UPDATE YET.

January 18, 2001 4:31:09 PM EST

Subject: Important Commission Rebate

Important Commission Rebate Announcement:

To thank you for your business at E*TRADE over the past year, we have credited your account with a series of Active Investor Commission Rebates, based on your trading activity in each quarter.

During each quarter, we rebated you $5 for each equity transaction between 30 and 74 trades. For 75 or more trades, we rebated you $10 each, effectively delivering a commission as low as $4.95; among the lowest commission rates in the industry. If you have multiple accounts linked by a single user ID, we totaled your trading activity across all accounts and issued credits back to each account, based on when and from which account trades were made. We issued these rebates monthly throughout the quarter, so you did not have to wait until the end of December to receive your rebate if you conducted 30 or more trades by the end of the first or second month in each quarter. Check your Account Activity on the Account Services page to see the rebates

Might be fun to take advantage of the possible "meltup" for an hour or 2.

I bought some INSP -- up nice for some reason this morning.

But COVD, PSIX, KANA, others I'm sure are also up nicely. Haven't decided about CPTH yet.

Don't plan to stay in them long.

Good luck everyone,
Chris
