Kis: Now this post makes sense and is something on which you and I can agree. The question of course becomes,..... How much longer can the balloon skin endure the many sharp pins? In a way, I kind of hope that Greenspan does give us another quarter point reduction, as I can't wait to see what this does to the buck. I agree with you that U.S. authorities will do everything in their power to keep the balloon intact, but unfortunately, foreigners now have much to say about the matter,..... through their desire or reticence with respect to owning U.S. $ based assets.
