Probably one thing that has contributed to LA.'s amazing wild life is the fact that the oil companies, and all the supporting industry has worked very hard at maintaining the green areas..Something that should be noted about all of this is the companies did it on their own without Govt. moving in and telling them they had to...The people of LA. love their natural settings...along with Mardi Gras..

Y'know what... these enviro-wackos would seemingly have us believe that crude oil is some kind of man-made artificial substance that would never leak to the surface on its own...

Geezus.... the friggin' eskimoes have been using seeping oil on the north slope for centuries...

It's nothing new and the wildlife has prospered just fine...

In fact, wildlife has actually prospered since the oil companies set up on the north slope.. especially the porcupine caribou.

Regards,

Ron
